You’ve seen inspirational quotes that encourage you to get out and do something strange, something you wouldn’t normally do. You have to do hard things to be happy in life because sometimes the things that seem so hard to perform are the most easiest ones. And when you accept the reality of facts of life, those are the things that define you. Those are the things that make the difference between existing and living between knowing the path and walking the path between a life of mediocrity and a life filled with happiness and success. Of course, the hard things are often the easiest things to avoid. To procrastinate. To make excuses. To pretend like they somehow don’t apply to you and your life situation. So for your own sake, start doing the hard things TODAY. I guarantee, you will be blown away at just how remarkable you really are and just how amazing life can be. Here are some ideas to get you started.
1. Everyone is insecure
That doesn’t sound like great news. It really doesn’t even sound like good news. But if you think about it, it totally is. Sometimes, there’s this feeling that sneaks up on us that tells us that we’re not “enough.” It might even feel like it’s there all the time. Sometimes we wake up and we feel like we have somehow failed automatically, simply by virtue of being who and what we are. YES! we all have this feeling, It’s not just you! Think of it this way, we all are the prisoners of our insecurities, but let it be something to slowly overcome. You’re more than enough.
2. Better late than never
Torn between life choices? Worst option is usually indecision, no matter what choice people make, they are more likely to be okay with the consequences than if they stay on the fence. You will never be 100% sure about decisions you made. But always make a decision because it’s better to go back and fix it than to never make it at all. Sometimes you will make the wrong decisions but you will save the energy and time to recover from it than if you make no decision at all.
3. Don’t look for perfection
We typically compare the worst we know of ourselves to the best we presume about others. You can control one life, yours. But when we constantly compare ourselves to others, we waste precious energy focusing on other peoples’ lives rather than our own. Comparing your life with others is always a losing proposition because there will always be people who “appear” to be better off than you and seemingly live the perfect life. There is always someone better than you. So there’s no point to compare.
4. You don’t have the control
There’s nothing in life you can really control except your own thoughts and actions. You will notice that things go much more smoothly when you give up control, when you allow them to happen instead of making them happen. So always hope for the best and prepare for the worst.
5. Make your life tough
The strongest, happiest, most successful people are NOT those who always win, but those who don’t give up when they lose. They fail forward. So keep calm when everything seems to be going wrong. You may feel weak, but your spirit is strong. When things are tough, you must be tougher. Don’t pray for an easy life; pray for the strength to endure a hard one that leads to long-term success and happiness.

6. Need, to be hard on yourself
Great strength comes from overcoming what others believe is impossible. And sometimes you have to lose the battle to win the war. So if you believe strongly in something, fight for it. In time things will fall into place, maybe not today, but eventually, maybe not exactly how you planned, just how it’s meant to be.
7. Forgive others
Kindness is not to be mistaken for weakness, nor forgiveness for acceptance. It’s about knowing that resentment is not on the path to happiness. You forgive people because you’re strong enough to know that people make mistakes. It is very hard for some people to keep their ego behind them and forgive others, but when you do forgive them you will definitely experience the load lift up from your mind and heart. Because that marks the point that you are able to move forward and are capable of making your life comfortable.
8. Be true to yourself
Truth be told, there are only a few people in this world who will stay 100% true to you, and YOU should be one of them. Prioritize your own needs into your daily to-do’s. Invest in your education, health and happiness every single day. Create a life that feels good on the inside, not one that just looks good on the outside to everyone else. This might be the hardest of the facts of life considering the society we live in but when you face it with strong will it will make your life comfortable.
9. To lose something precious (Facts of life)
It is always hard to lose something that has many memories with you but quite often, the successful people who act the happiest are the ones who have overcome the most. Sometimes you have to lose something precious in order to gain something priceless. Never regret your past mistakes and failures, because they have given you strength. They teaches you about every aspect of life and how to act upon any problem you face. The one who falls and gets up is much stronger than the one who never fell.
10. Let go of your hard work
The story of your life has many chapters. One bad chapter doesn’t mean it’s the end. So stop re-reading the bad one already and turn the page. Accept what is, let go of what was and have faith in what could be. If you cling on to your past, you will never move forward. It is hard to let go of your yesterday’s struggle but remember, life does not have to be anywhere near perfect to be wonderful in the end and that everything happens for the very best reasons. This is the part of the facts of life that guides you on every step of your journey, the one you know and the one you don’t know.
