The U.S president John F. Kennedy had a lot to say on the matter of politics and success, but I believe everything that can be learned or said about the man has been very excellently summed up in this one sentence, through this single sentence President Kennedy has told us what separates a successful man from an Unsuccessful People.

People often say that success is a matter of perspective, and while I wholeheartedly agree, I believe that every successful individual has a set of characteristic qualities whatever walk of life they be from and howsoever they may define success, and so similarly every Unsuccessful People has a set of characteristic traits as well.

Unsuccessful People will always blame someone else for ruining their life, they aren’t ready to understand that if they don’t take the steering wheel of their own lives, someone else will, and they will steer them any way they wish or see fit. It’s always up to us to create the life we want for ourselves.

If we keep mourning our circumstances for holding us done we will never be able to rise because the only person who suffers is you. Imagine looking back and releasing that you didn’t do anything because you couldn’t stand up and get what you wanted. We are not a product of our circumstances, we are a product of our choices.

Constantly complaining about things and never taking fate into their own hands, is something that unsuccessful people commonly do. This point takes a bit of liking to the first, but I’ve added it in order to emphasize the importance of taking a hold of your future. The truth is the universe lets you have what you work for, most of you have heard the quote,
The universe falls in love with a stubborn heart.

And if you turn off all that you’ve gotten clustered in your brain, you’ll that you can be anything, absolutely anything you dream of being. If you stop telling yourself that the world is the reason you can’t get where you are, and start taking the responsibility of making your dreams and ambitions come to life.

Success demands commitment, you can’t just get up one day successful. There is blood and sweat and tears and then there are those moments when everyone has given up on your dream and you, but you haven’t and it’s you against the world and the only thing you can hold up in your defense is your commitment. So, start working on what you believe in today and burning the midnight oil. Muhammad Ali once said,
It isn’t the mountains ahead to climb that wear you out; it’s the pebble in your shoe.

Unsuccessful People Conform:

I’ve said on numerous occasions and I’ll say it again, a tree has no anchor if it cuts its root away and pretends to be something it not for the sake of fitting in with the rest of the forest. Unsuccessful People are afraid of himself and of standing alone for something. I know telling someone to be brave is so much easier than actually standing up to the world, but losing everything because you couldn’t stand for something you believe in is a worse fate than that of a person who stood up and ridiculed by people.
If you want to be a real human being – a real woman, a real man – you cannot tolerate things which put you to indignation, to outrage. You must stand up. I always say to people, ‘Look around; look at what makes you unhappy, what makes you furious, and then engage yourself in some action.’
Unsuccessful People Don’t Read Up:

You can’t just get up on a podium with nothing to say and with no background information and expect to give the best speech in the history speeches. It doesn’t work like that, success comes through well read and well thought out approaches, success is built through hard work and careful planning.

Unsuccessful People will either be the victim of a huge ego or will be a victim of extremely low self-esteem, sometimes both at the same time, (yes, people like that exist, he or she is your high school bully who is threatened by you enough to want to hurt you mentally and physically).

Insecurities like these always pull you down, if your too proud, you won’t be able to look at your flaws and work on them, if you have low self-esteem you won’t be able to look at anything but your faults.

You believe that you can do everything by yourself and do not ask for help. Thinking of the sort usually results in failure, because we are incapable of succeeded alone, there is a reason everyone who stands on a podium has a long list of people to thank. You can’t get greatness alone it just isn’t possible, you need help to achieve stardom.
