How To Secure Your Products for Packaging

The online market has gained popularity and many people have turned their heads to shop online. The world has become a global village where you can order any product from the USA sitting in India. The concern that many people face is the safe delivery of the products. Many times, the freight services act quite lazily and do not provide quality services and damage the package or the product inside. The shipping boxes have to be very intact and proper that keep your product safe and in its very shape. Here are some of the tips on how to secure your products for the packaging.

Individual Wrapping

The first tip to keep the packaged products safe is by wrapping each item in a separate package. Like you have five different crockery items to get delivered, make sure you wrap each crockery item in separate bubble wraps. For fragile items like glass, be sure you wrap the items in a way that they are properly wholly covered.

Multiple Layering

After individual wrapping, make sure to layer the item several times. One single layer is not enough most of the time. For loose products like pillows or clothes, multiple layering isn’t required but for breakable items, multiple layers are a must thing to do.

Cushioning Material

The packing peanuts or other such packing materials are common to be seen inside the packages. These packing materials allow the packed items to stay in their place and protect the item from shocks. They also keep the product in its shape and do not allow them to compress. These packing materials keep a safe distance from each other within the box, when there are several packed items and also maintain a distance from the box’s walls thus keeping the product secure.

Resistant Material

Another thing to keep in mind while packing products is to use cushioning products that are climate and contaminant-resistant. The shipping of products might take much time and you never know the conditions under which the products are being delivered. If your package has to be shipped through a path that may undergo variations in temperature, humidity, or pressure, likely, the outer packaging, cushioning materials, or the product itself could experience some disagreeable modifications. The cushioning material used could lose its resilience, and the product might damage, making your delivery service unreliable to the customers. To ensure contaminant-free delivery, make sure to use a material that is tested by the experts and is durable enough to sustain the chemical contamination that might occur.

H-Taping

When you have insulated your product to be delivered, the next step is taping the boxes. The H-taping method is considered to be appropriate for sealing the boxes properly. The H-taping method implies that all the sides and corners of the box have been taped neatly so that your package doesn’t open up accidentally. Heavier boxes and those with fragile items in them need more care in this regard and more taping would be demanded by such packages.

Box-in-Box

It is always recommended to insulate the package as much as it needs to make the delivery secure without any damage to the package. The box-in-box method is thus a good preference to opt for to make the delivery safe and sound. This makes the use of two boxes, the inner box with above mentioned all the processes, wrapped up products, use of cushioning materials and taped properly, and then it is put in the larger outer box that too has cushioning inside. In this way, the products are sure to be delivered safely from the company till their destination.
