express yourself

How many times have you said something that just didn’t come out the way you wanted it to? Do you find it hard to stay focused?

How many times have we said something that we really didn’t mean, but we were too frustrated to stop it from being said?

The more focus you have on the task at hand, the more likely you are to achieve greatness.

If you are able to stay focused at work, or at school, and on your goals, you’ll be productive, you’ll get things done and you’ll reach your goals in record time.

Staying focused can be tough with a constant stream of employees, clients, emails, and phone calls demanding your attention.

Everyone is unique and different in their own way and they have to be able to show the world what makes them special.

Remember that everyone is special and so are you.

You have unique thoughts, perceptions, different ways of doing things, and you can teach and influence other people with the unique knowledge that you have. However, you have to actively get out there and find ways to do that.

For that, you need to stay focused!

Luckily, we have discovered some great practical and creative ways that will help you stay focused and most of them can also be a lot of fun!

1. Eliminate Distractions:

Step one to getting focused is to lessen or cast off distractions. If you imagine that your consciousness is a bucketful of water, every distraction is a little hole in your bucket.

The extra distractions you have, the greater holes you have, the more water is going to leak out, and sooner or later your bucket is going to be empty.

Your focus works the same way. In case you’re concentrated on your workbut your cell phone is ringing or someone knocking on your door, there’s all this noise around you and that’s going to make it harder to work.

It makes it much tougher to concentrate because everytime the phone rings or someone knocks, you have a decision to make: do you pay attention to your smartphone vibrating, or do you live targeted on the mission handy?

So the first step is to remove distractions.

That’s why libraries are so quiet. That’s why if you sit in a meditation room, you’ll be aware how unbelievably quiet it is. So make your very own library. Lessen or take away as many distractions as you can.

Stay focused, go after your dreams and keep moving toward your goals.

Near the door for your room or for your workplace place a “Do no longer disturb” sign that’s going to tell people, “ I don’t want to be disturbed and I want to be as productive as possible.”

2. When You’re Upset, Write A Letter:

If you’re angry at someone, go ahead and write them a nasty letter.

Just don’t give it to them.

Sleep on it.

Next morning go through the letter, your perspectives have changed now and I seriously doubt you’ll send the letter now but more than that, sending someone a letter that is well thought out is a great idea when you’re trying to express yourself.

Sometimes a well-worded letter will allow you to express yourself where a conversation would not.

3. Train your mind like a muscle.

When multitasking is the norm, your brain quickly adapts.

Otherwise, you lose the ability to focus, as distractions became an addiction.  Five minutes per day, focus yourself and train your mind to concentrate even when it doesn’t want to.

In case you find your thoughts wandering, simply return to the undertaking to hand. It’s similar to exercise. You need to construct the muscle that needs work.

4. Take Regular Breaks:

We live in a society where taking breaks and relaxation is not “cool”, and you’re pressured to keep working 24/7. However, taking breaks is going allow your brain to reset itself. Your energy follows in a very predictable way every single day: it is going up, and it takes approximately 2 ½ hours to go down.

And while your energy begins decreasing, so does your focus, your concentration, your strength of mind and you even start running the chance of losing your temper.

Work for 50 minutes and then take a ten-minute break, after that focus all your energy on teh task at hand and then take another 30-minute break.

In the course of your breaks, get up. If you’re sitting at a deskget upstroll around, shake it off. Stay focused and stay determined. Don’t look to anyone else to be your determination – have self-determination.

It will take you very far.

5. Start Writing A Blog:

Blogging gives you to the freedom to do what you want and say what you want to say. It also allows you to connect with an audience.

You can pretty much do anything you want on a blog, and it can be read by anyone in the world, which is why it is a great way to express yourself to a large group of people.

You can also share your posts on social media to get them in front of other people or you can just make your blogs anonymous and still express yourself.

Whatever you do, make sure you stay active off your blog in order to keep your name in front of other people and encourage them to come to visit your blog.

Stay focused on a clear message in your blog and try to get as much out of it as possible.
