Common Unproductive Habits That Successful People Avoid

The fourth prime minister of Israel, Golda Meir said: “I must govern the clock, not be governed by it.” Golda Meir definitely knew very well how to govern the clock. He became prime minister during a devastating time in the history of Israel. Becoming successful is not what a society should do, it is something which only you should decide to attain and the ways of attaining it. Because the way you manage your time actually determines whether you will succeed or not. No matter how much you feel proud of yourself that you can do anything, you also at so many times need a reminder to use your time productively. One very important while achieving a task is knowing what you should not do ever. And successful is that person who avoids doing those things. Few such things are mentioned below. Give them a read and if you find anyone of them related, get rid of that as soon as possible:

When you allow yourself to be weighted down with such commitments which are of no worth or are extremely time and energy summing and do not assure a perfect result then that is the time when you need that you need to learn the skills of time management.

You can mold down Golda Meir’s quotation a little bit and it will give you an amazing advice: “I must govern the technology, not be governed by it.” It is very embarrassing that with each passing day how the generation is becoming addicted to the e-devices. The fact is people who do some productive work never waste their precious hours on using Facebook. They also know the rules of a place and never use their mobile phones while being at work.

The people who are at the productive end and the successful ones are always the ones who finish their tasks at the proper and right time. They never a thing or a task just because it was taking a lot of times or was difficult. They take their time and never leave anything midway. An 18th-century statesman, Philip Stanhope who belonged to England and served as the fourth Earl of Chesterfield wrote the following lines to his son: “Know the true value of time; snatch, seize, and enjoy every moment of it. No idleness, no laziness, no procrastination; never put off until tomorrow what you can do today.”
